But, I would like to mention few effective things to do while planning a scene.
- Know your scene or shot and how the shot advances the story. Try to have a look of other shots of the same movie.
- Know the emotional content and intensity of the shot. If possible by asking the director or your animation supervisor.
- Study the story boards and key poses which are given to you. If story boards were not available make some rough thumbnail sketches and get an overall idea of the shot.
- Make a copy of your dialog track, load it in your mobile, computer, ipod whatever etc., and listen to it wherever you go all the time. Try to understand the emotional intensity of the dialogue. Notice the pauses, subtle breaths. Think in the form of breaking down the dialogue into pieces.
- Act out your shot in all possible varieties, in all possible angles, in all possible emotions. Ask your family and friends to act out the shot for you, if they don't request them.
- Do a lot of research about the scene ..................................................................................... ,..............................................................................................................................................
